Meet Blush, a 5-piece ensemble churning out Jazz & Blues like there's no tomorrow, straight from the heart of Macclesfield, Cheshire. They play songs so good, you'll be surprised you've never heard them before, along with a sprinkle of old-time hits. Forget the usual, Blush is all about delivering fantastic music with a dash of quirk, carried out by five individuals who are head over heels in love with every beat they produce.

For this festive edition, we're teaming up with The Macclesfield Creative Writing Group to bring you poetry and prose in celebration of the season.

Come and unwind with spoken word. This is a chance to read a piece of prose or a poem you have written yourself, or one of your favourites, or simply sit and enjoy the musings of local writers. Fantastic bar, come and have a drink, join in (or not) and relax!

(Should you wish to read on the night, we're asking that you limit your pieces to three minutes.)

Singer-songwriter Aerynn is thrilled to announce the release of her highly anticipated 14-song album, See In The Dark. Produced by the talented Mark Winterburn, the album is available NOW for Pre-order digitally and on CD on aerynn.com, and will be out on all streaming platforms on November 29, 2024.

To celebrate the release, Aerynn will be hosting an intimate launch concert/gathering, See In The Dark Live, on the new moon, December 1, 2024, in the rustically aesthetic cathedralesque venue 'The Button Warehouse' in Macclesfield.

She will be accompanied by Chris Cliff on bass (Skutch Manos), Robbie Roberts on pedal steel/guitar (John Street Revival) and Chris Emerson on strings (The Hallé Orchestra), creating bespoke real renditions of each lovingly crafted song. Special Guest TBA.

Tim Gambles is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Tasmania, Australia but now resides part time in the North East of the UK. Having already established himself at The Button Warehouse with multiple performances supporting other Artists, Tim is returning to The Button with his own band and a bunch of new songs to deliver a 'sneak peak' show of what is to come in 2025. If you haven't seen a 'Tim Gambles' show then what you can expect is to go on a musical journey through multiple genres, blending light and dark with his powerful but delicate vocals and wide musical influences. Supported by the hypnotic sounds of Cameron Glass from Newcastle.

'It's not often you come across a voice with such controlled power: even at the emotional heights and depths of the songs, Rob’s voice retains a purity and focus that is all too rare. Wherever his songwriting leads him, his voice adapts to the genre, from pop through folk and roots. A classic voice for classic music.' Rob has been featured on BBC introducing, has won the highly regarded ‘Purbeck Rising 2022’ imprinting himself onto the UK folk scene, and won the ‘Sofia International Singer Songwriter Festival 2022’ in Bulgaria.?Heavily influenced by the likes of; Ben Howard, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Bruce Springsteen - Rob’s music is filled with real life experiences, performed in his own compelling storytelling style, with acoustic guitar accompanied by a variation of foot percussion. 2023 was eventful for Rob, selling out numerous shows in the South of England. Rob has performed on nationally regarded stages already in 2024 at; The AMA UK Showcase in London and won the public vote on the Introducing stage at The UK West Coast Folk Festival in Blackpool. His debut album (Lost Soul) was released on March 1st  with his debut headline tour across the UK and Europe throughout the Spring of '24.

Jess Thristan, the incredible musical genius, wrote her first song "The Shield" when she was only 15! Can you believe that? A&G Songs were so impressed, that they gave her a publishing deal!
Fast forward to 2018, Jess spiced things up, adding a country vibe to her music, influenced by Maren Morris and Jillian Jacqueline, all the while staying authentic and true to her own style. She showcased her fresh new tunes all around London, Manchester, and Leeds. She's rocked The Library club and shared the stage with the likes of Andy Brown and Remember Monday - this girls done it all! Even Maverick magazine was enchanted by her music. By the end of the year, she was playing alongside big stars like Tim Prottey-Jones, Dan Weller, and Jamie Evans. 2019 was a whirlwind of awesome moments for Jess! She performed at her first festival, Buckle & Boots, released her single 'The Old Me', and got everyone from Baylen Leonard to BBC Introducing singing her praises. She became part of Lyric Magazine’s Class of 2020, opened for Nashville’s Kelsey Waldon, and was booked for the C2C Festival!

He's a writer and sometimes poet, known for his unusual and descriptive phrasing. Over the past six years, Sam has been featured on numerous radio stations, including BBC Introducing, and has wowed audiences from Newcastle to Manchester.
