Poems and Pints nights are back at The Button Warehouse with guest poet Jenny Melmoth followed by a great evening of open-mic poetry.
This is a chance to perform your own poems or to read your favourites or just come and enjoy a drink, relax and listen.

Jenny began writing soon after moving to Macclesfield over 40 years ago. A member of Tarantula Performing Poets and Manchester Poets, she has performed on Buxton and Edinburgh Fringes and Little Moreton and Bramall Halls. She has had poems on Radio 4 and on Scarborough Airings and has worked in many schools sharing poems with young people. From this came two publications: Feet First, Poems for Dance and Footsteps, More Poems for Dance. She was also creative writing tutor to the Disabled Not Daft Writing Group based in Runcorn. She has had two books of memoir published, focusing on the animals in her life and including poems. She has a husband, two sons, two granddaughters, three cats and a dog.
