Thursday 28th April, 2022
7.30PM - 9.30PM
You are warmly invited to the launch of The Greenhouse, a new literary and arts journal in Macclesfield. Volume one is 48 pages, full colour throughout, and beautifully printed on recycled paper in the UK.
The first volume - curated around the theme of light - features art, photography, poetry and short fiction from a range of diverse voices in and around Macclesfield, as well as from farther afield. It is a wonderful celebration of the creativity in the area, and the artists and writers who are flourishing.
On the night there will be a reading by acclaimed writer Joseph Darlington, whose short fiction piece Murder at Urbino is featured in volume one, as well as painting and photography exhibited by many of the artists featured in the journal, including Katie Pitt, Diana Moss, the Courthouse Collective, and others. Copies of volume one will be available for the very first time, and can also be pre-ordered here: https://etsy.me/3J0KAVB
Entrance is free and open to everyone - so please do bring friends and family.
