Helen has been widely published in various poetry magazines. In 2021 she was highly commended in the Welsh Poetry Awards and a finalist for the Brotherton anthology (Carcanet) and Live Canon Collection. She curates dyslexiapoetry.co.uk. , a platform aimed at supporting neurodiverse writers. Her pamphlet, This Lexia & Other Languages, was published in 2020 (v.press). She is known on Facebook for her sidekick hen puppet, Nigella.
